With the introduction of our CiBAS technology we have incorporated the benefits of concentric technology derived from years of fired heater experience together with a wealth of knowledge & experience of the offshore industry and created a concept aimed at providing the industry with leading edge technology.

• A compact & fully integrated package, shop assembled and transportable as a single flange to flange assembly limiting yard or site assembly

• Simplicity of design ensuring rapid assembly / dis-assembly

• Internally lined coil casing maintaining a surface temperature sub 67 Degrees C with the added benefit of reducing noise break out to less than 85 dBa @ 1 metre distance - ATEX compliant

• An alternative (unlined) hot casing design solution is also available

• Integrally mounted centre plug and bypass damper-noise attenuation is provided in bypass mode to ensure equal attenuation levels

• Minimal support steel work

• Design configurations for both vertical and axial exhaust flow engines

CiTECH is a "World Class" supplier of Gas Turbine Heat Recovery systems and over 25 years has delivered over 227 specialised turbine heat recovery packages to the Oil and Gas Industry.

Our commitment in this field has produced innovative solutions aimed at saving weight and space for Offshore designers. Innovation and the CiBAS concept is leading the drive for further advances. The generic package can be installed across a range of gas turbines from 5 to 50 Megawatts for both Thermal energy recovery and Steam generation purposes.

Whatever your process, CIBAS is the most compact, lightweight and cost effective way of recovering heat from your turbine exhaust.

CiBAS stands for Concentric Internal Bypass And Silencer

The patented design can be used for heating any fluid and controls the process temperature accurately with it's sleeve type bypass valve. In its standard form CIBAS reduces a gas turbine's noise level to less than 80 dBA at 1 m making it ideal for all locations.

The cold casing design allows CiBAS to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres associated with oil and gas platforms offshore and in petro-chemical plants onshore.

CiBASGeneric Family

CiTECH has developed CiBAS as a generic family of heat recovery and steam generation packages. Helically wound, finned tube bundles are installed within the unit annulus between outer casing and internal bypass valve. Recovering heat from the full turbine flow at temperatures typically in the 400°C to 550°C range.

Gas Turbine Heat Recovery

CiBASOnce Through Steam Generation

Once Through Steam Generation

CiTECH has used its wealth of experience in once through steam generation systems to extend its CiBAS range with the successful introduction of Gas Turbine OTSG packages.

Again using helically wound finned tube bundles, the equipment recovers heat from full turbine flow at temperatures in the 400°C to 570°C range.

The system is designed to currently operate at pressures up to 62 Bar and super heat temperatures up to 515°C. Steam production across the range of five package solutions ranges from 8 tonnes to 55 tonnes per hour by design. Supplementary firing the exhaust can increase these values significantly.
