Recovering heat from a process system is an acceptable method in the pre-heating of air. Recovery temperatures vary; our radiation recuperators have been supplied to recover up to 800°C from furnace exhaust temperatures of 1450°C.Where exhaust gas temperatures are lower (sub 900°C), convective recuperators can be used as the radiant propert of gas diminishes.
