Traditional Equipment

Our range of Waste Heat Recovery Units has been developed and refined over the years to encompass:
  • A compact serpentine finned tube bundle (serated optional) optimised to the process requirement
  • Lined coil casing limiting external surface temperatures to approximately 68 Degrees C compliant with ATEX requirements where necessary
  • Integral Bypass system ensuring a compact arrangement
  • Dampers or Divertor valve for gas flow through the coil casing or bypass as required with pneumatic actuation system reservoir and interface control
  • Inlet valve
  • Outlet valve
  • Support structures, platforms and ladders are optional
  • Coil & casing materials provided to meet project requirements
  • Equipment compliant with ASME VIII requirements
  • Pre-assembled units can be supplied to suit project needs

Alternatively our Hot casing design can be proposed for use in Non hazardous locations

Waste Heat Recovery Systems

Our population of Waste Heat Recovery Units packages extends to over 200 units, the majority being installed offshore the balance onshore in refinery & land fall installations
Solutions encompass:
  • Integral Bypass internally lined cold casing designs, originally developed for the harsh environment of the North Sea offering a rugged compact construction
  • A lighter weight hot casing derivative of the Proven cold casing design where weight and pre-packaging are pre-requisite
  • Units are installed on board fixed platforms, semi submersibles and FPSO installations of differing design, the applications they are used for include:

    • Heating transfer oils
    • Water or Water Glycol
    • Crude Oil
    • Regeneration gases
    • Natural gas

Our single largest heat recovery package is over 100 Mwth, our most recent installation of 5 packages provides over 210 MWT of heat to an LNG process.
