CiTECH have been awarded the order from Siemens for Three CiBAS C100 WHRU for the Kakinada Onshore Terminal to provide heat to the Gas Processing System. The CiBAS units are designed to be cold casing and run dry, the units are specified to recoup at a combined flow rate of 2,808,600 kg/hr a total thermal duty of 105,000kwth through a hot oil system recovering heat from three SGT700 Turbines.
The Reliance Gas Transport and Infrastructure Co. Ltd. is building the East-West Gas Pipeline from Kakinada to the Western state of Gujarat in India. The pipeline has a length of 1300 km and a diameter of 48 “This project is the first and largest privately owned pipeline in India and the backbone of India’s natural gas grid. The gas is recovered from the 8,100km² KG-DWN-98 / l (KG-D6) block which lies in the Krishna-Godavari basin of the Bay of Bengal on India’s east coast. The field is operated by Reliance Industries (90%) on behalf of Niko Resources (10%). Block reserves have been put at 14,000bn cubic feet of gas and 140m barrels of oil.
