CiTECH have won the order from MISC Berhad to supply two CiBAS C30 WHRU for their FSPO Cendor to provide heat to the on-board Production & Process System. The CiBAS units are designed to be cold case and to run dry, recovering a total of a combined flow rate of 475,700kw and a total thermal duty of 11,600kwth through a Hot Oil System (Therminol 55) from two Solar Taurus 70 Gas Turbines.
MISC Bhd will take delivery of FPSO Cendor for operations with Petrofac in Phase 2 of the Cendor field development project. The BV-class FPSO will be operating 140 km offshore Terengganu, Malaysia. It is 234 m long, 41.2 m wide with a production capacity of 35,000 barrels of oil per day and an oil storage capacity, excluding slop tanks, of 680,000 barrels of oil. The unit will be moored on site with a 12 point spread-mooring system. First oil is planned for May 2014. Conversion of the tanker under BV supervision is in the final stage of completion at the Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings yard in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.
