CiTECH have been awarded the order from Stroytransgaz for Four CiBAS C30 WHRU for the Ice Resistant Platform LSP-1 to provide heat to the Ice Protection Systems. The CiBAS units are designed to be cold case and to run flooded, the units are specified to recover at a combined flow rate of 792,000kg/hr a total of 26,000kwth through a Water Glycol system from four Solar Taurus 60 Gas Turbines with a running regime of three duty, one standby.
LUKOIL discovered six large oil and gas fields in the North Caspian between 1999 and 2005: Khvalynskoye, Yuri Korchagin, Rakushechnoye, Sarmatskoye and Filanovsky. At this stage, the fields are thought to contain 4.7 bln boe of 3P (proven, probable and possible) reserves. The Vladimir Filanovsky oil-gas field is particularly noteworthy – this is the biggest by oil reserves discovered in Russia in the last 20 years.
